Take a look at this eccentric and nostalgic country cottage

Farmhouse

This simple Hampshire farmhouse is full to the brim with an eclectic mix of fabrics, furniture, paintings and accessories, making for a truly mismatched, but delightful display.

English living room

Wall colours and carpets are kept plain and simple in this living room in order to offset the busy fabrics found around the room.  A side table with treasured photos and trinkets sits beneath an antique ancestral painting.

Eclectic dining room

Light floods through the deep original windows, onto an Edwardian reproduction dining table.  Clusters of photo frames fill the walls, whilst handmade lampshades adorn decorative side tables.

Mix & Match kitchen

Mix-and-match floral fabrics in similar tones help tie this kitchen together, with accents of red and pink added to the cabinetry and accessories to enhance the vintage feel.  Rustic wooden worktops and rattan chairs help to balance out the look.

Dressing area

Floor length patterned curtains falling onto stained white floorboards, adds drama and volume to a small window in the dressing room.  In a small area like this, using the same floral pattern  keeps the room from looking overcrowded.

Utility room

Simple floral-lined shelving stretch the length of the walls in this utility room,  creating useable storage, and a perfect place to display stacks of mix-and-match china and tableware.  Paisley and floral prints sit with plain coloured ceramics for a pretty and unique collection.

Country bedroom

This French bed, with its decorative canopy and intricate headboard, creates a focal point for the room. Plain walls and minimal accessories keep the bedroom calm and relaxed.

Country kids bedroom

A simple colour scheme is livened up with bright accessories and soft furnishings in this children's bedroom.  A bright red throw hangs behind the bed for an alternative headboard.  Classic wooden toys sit on top of a rustic chest of drawers continuing the tradintional country feel.

Country guest bedroom

This decorative wrought-iron headboard creates an impressive focal point against the pale pink walls in this guest bedroom.  A floral canopy frames the metal headboard, and wall-mounted candelabras keep the look delicate and vintage-inspired.

Country bathroom

The bathroom is given a vintage twist by adding a floral curtain around the sink, and is complemented by a dusky pink colour scheme.  Unusual furniture and accessories finish off the eclectic look.
